Place An Order: Before placing an order, be sure to share your preferred donor with your BIVF care team for approval and signoff. Once approved, orders can be placed directly on the website or by calling SSB’s trained staff members at 206.588.1484.
Complete Required Paperwork: Before shipping vials, all forms related to the purchase must be completed. Forms can be found in your All-Access Pass login account.
Schedule Shipment of Vials: Schedule your shipment by selecting the date of your choice and provide the shipping address for the Boston IVF location of treatment.

All of our qualified donors undergo rigorous testing that meets or exceeds FDA and state regulations. These donor candidates undergo extended genetic screening – testing for up to 514 genetic conditions including cystic fibrosis, spinal muscular atrophy, and male karyotyping. SSB has licensed genetic counselors on staff to answer any questions related to a donor’s genetic test results. Our staff will work diligently to pair every patient with a donor solution which will match their individualized needs.

Family Slots

Seattle Sperm Bank proudly leads the way as the first sperm bank in the United States to introduce family slots for newly available donors.

SSB’s family slot program tracks the number of families utilizing a donor at any given time. Owning a slot allows families to have access to available vials for their donor of choice while going through current and future treatments.

Open Identity Donors

SSB exclusively offers Open ID donors — all donors have completed donor counseling and agreed to at least one form of contact with any donor conceived child once they turn 18. The donor conceived child must initiate the contact, as parent and child identities are confidential and never released to the sperm donor. This meaningful option will be available to any SSB donor conceived child, regardless of which donor is selected.

Donor Availability

Although we offer a wide range of quality donors, our inventory is ever-changing and sometimes in short supply. We cannot guarantee a preferred donor’s vials will be available indefinitely or at a moment’s notice. For this reason, we recommend individuals and couples plan ahead and purchase extra samples to reserve for future use.
