Meet Bastien (14709)

At 6'4" with a large-boned, solid build, Bastien takes up space while being approachable rather than imposing. His features balance strength with warmth: a rounded face set with a wide jaw and well-defined chin, olive skin that keeps an even, healthy tone year-round, and dark brown, almond-shaped eyes that sit beneath a prominent brow and are framed by long, naturally curly lashes. His broad nose, full lips, and deep dimples give him an unmistakably friendly smile. A neatly kept goatee and mustache tie everything together with a look that feels intentional but never overdone, while his thick, dark brown hair falls in defined, S-shaped curls that look good whether he’s styled it or left it alone. Altogether, there’s something steady and comforting about him, a big, strong guy softened by an easy warmth.

Bastien grew up working with his hands, learning early from his contractor father and mechanically minded grandfather how to fix, build, and understand things from the ground up. Over time, that turned into real expertise, backed by certifications in construction technology and automotive tech, and today he’s the kind of person who can repair almost anything, from cars to phones to household appliances, confidently. He balanced that practicality with academics, earning a B.A. in Sociology and excelling in math, where geometry came naturally and led to him assisting a statistics professor, helping classmates grasp difficult material. Physically, he’s always been ahead of the curve, often playing with older kids growing up, then competing in football and track and field as a thrower in high school. Now he keeps that discipline going through regular weightlifting and hiking. Outside of work and fitness, he leans into quieter, more creative interests: wandering bookstores for sci-fi and fantasy, building models, tinkering with electronics, painting, writing poetry, and solving puzzles. He describes himself as serious, empathetic, and disciplined, someone who notices the small shifts others miss and leads with care. He stays close to his family, seeing them often and never leaving without saying “I love you.” His dream for the future is simple and sincere: a piece of land, a small home, and the people he loves within reach.
