Meet Malhar (11039)

Family Slot Donor

New Donor

Standing around 5'10" with broad shoulders and forearms that hint at hands-on work, Mahar is equally at home in a hospital as he is underneath the hood of a car. His jet-black hair is cut short on the sides, with a natural wave on top that is neatly styled and full of volume. A well-groomed, full dark beard frames an oval face with warm, even medium-brown skin, high cheekbones, and a jaw that is defined without being severe. But the real showstoppers are his eyes, hazel-brown with green undertones and framed by thick dark brows. When he smiles, his broad, charming grin brings a noticeable warmth to them.

Raised in a close-knit Indian immigrant household, he grew up watching his parents turn limited resources into rich experiences. Cross-country road trips in a beat-up Nissan Altima became his first classroom in resilience and wonder. By high school, he was running cross-country and track. Today, he has completed 12 half-marathons and 2 full marathons, with more on the horizon. Basketball rounds out his athletic life, serving as both competition and stress relief. He speaks English natively, along with Gujarati and Hindi, and he and his wife now pursue their own version of those childhood road trips by visiting one new country each year.

A self-taught mechanic since childhood, he owns and maintains six project cars, diagnosing, fabricating, repairing, and upgrading them with a level of precision that would impress any professional shop. He jokes that cars are his “toys,” but the skill set runs deeper. If it requires tools, he can fix it, from engines to household projects. It is the same problem-solving mindset he brings to his professional life as a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist in mobile imaging operations every day.

He understands the value of time, including time with family, time for impact, and time to keep challenging himself. Driven, warm, and funny, Malhar builds things, runs far, travels intentionally, and shows up fully wherever he goes.
