All specimens are shipped via FedEx or UPS using either Priority 2 Business Day or Priority Next Business Day shipping services. Overnight deliveries guarantee arrival by 10:30am on the selected delivery date, if the courier is able to accommodate. 2 Business Day shipments are guaranteed by the end of the business day or 4:30pm on the selected delivery date. If you have specific shipping requests, please communicate that to us directly, as well as to your patients, so we can ensure we are best serving your lab team.
Specimens will arrive in a dry liquid nitrogen cryotank. Our standard tanks are guaranteed to hold a charge for a minimum of seven days. We also offer two week tanks for a $50 upgrade charge. These larger tanks are ideal for shipments going to facilities without long term storage or residential addresses. These tanks are mandatory for certain destinations like Hawaii and Alaska to safeguard specimens during potentially prolonged transit times.
